Terms of Service

Effective July 24, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Saketh Thippireddy, an individual doing business as Voco, based in Texas, United States ("Voco," "we," "us"). They govern your use of the Voco iOS app (App Store bundle fit.voco.app) and related services (together, the "Service"). By using Voco you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The service

Voco is a voice-first calorie and macro tracker. You describe what you ate by speaking or typing; automated speech-to-text and AI models estimate the foods, calories, and macronutrients; you review and confirm the result; and Voco tracks it against a daily plan calculated from the profile you enter.

Estimates, not measurements. The nutrition numbers Voco produces are AI-generated estimates. They depend on how you describe your food, on the limits of the underlying models, and on the reference data available, and they can be wrong, sometimes significantly. Voco shows a per-item confidence grade precisely because a guess should never be dressed up as fact. You are responsible for reviewing entries before confirming them and for how you use the output. When accuracy really matters to you, check against the label or a trusted source.

Not medical or dietary advice

Voco is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. The calorie, macro, and target figures it produces are informational estimates only. They are not a diagnosis, treatment, cure, or prevention of any condition, and they are not a substitute for professional judgment.

Before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition or a history of disordered eating, or take medication affected by diet, consult a qualified physician or registered dietitian. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or emergency services immediately.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Voco. By using the Service you represent that you are 13 or older and that you can form a binding contract with us, or that a parent or guardian who can has agreed to these Terms on your behalf. Voco is not directed at children under 13.

Accounts

Voco lets you try your first log before signing up; that trial session becomes your account when you sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address, and your data carries over. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. Give accurate profile information; the plan Voco builds depends on it. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Subscriptions, billing & free trial

Full access to Voco requires an auto-renewing subscription, offered as:

New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts automatically to the paid plan you chose and Apple charges you that plan's price.

Prices are in US dollars; actual amounts may vary by region under Apple's local pricing. The price shown in the app and on the App Store at purchase is the one that applies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is abusive, fraudulent, or harmful to the Service or its users.

Your content

The meal descriptions, logs, and profile data you put into Voco remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to process, store, and display that data to run the Service for you, including sending your audio and text to the speech and AI providers described in our Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of your data, we do not sell it, and we do not train models of our own on your recordings. Our speech and AI vendors state that data sent through their APIs is not used to train their models by default.

Intellectual property

The Service itself, including the app, its design, the Voco name and branding, and the software and content we provide, belongs to us and is protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's usage rules.

Apple

Voco is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your license to the app itself is Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless we provide a custom one. Your use is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the Service or its content, and no obligation to provide maintenance, support, or warranty service for it; those are our responsibility alone. If the app fails to conform to a warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price, and to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the app, including product-liability, regulatory, or consumer-protection claims, or third-party claims that the app infringes intellectual-property rights. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. The Service also depends on third-party providers (transcription, AI, hosting, analytics, subscription management) described in our Privacy Policy; we are not responsible for their availability.

Termination & account deletion

You can stop using Voco at any time, and you can delete your account and its data from inside the app (Settings, then Delete Account). Deletion is permanent. It does not cancel an active subscription; cancel that in your Apple subscription settings, or Apple will keep billing it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or where the law requires. Sections that by their nature should survive, including your content license as needed to wind down, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, survive termination.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any estimate or output will be accurate, complete, or reliable. Some places do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, Voco will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, including reliance on any nutrition estimate, even if we were told such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is capped at the greater of the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars ($50). Some places do not allow certain liability limits, so parts of this may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Voco harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these Terms, the law, or a third party's rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute not subject to mandatory consumer law where you live will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both sides consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in these Terms takes away consumer protections that the law of your home jurisdiction makes mandatory.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and post the new version at this address, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify you in the app. Continuing to use Voco after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
